Each year the Kennebec Valley Garden Club decorates the Blaine House, our Maine governor’s mansion, and invites all Maine garden club members to a holiday social.
The theme chosen by the governor this year was “Flora & Fauna of Maine,” and the Kennebec Valley Club did an incredible job interpreting that vision. The result was a perfect blend of elegance and creativity employing many naturally sourced materials and a touch of whimsy.
Our visiting members enjoyed the opportunity to tour the mansion and to savor holiday treats along with piping hot tea and coffee to warm us on that rainy day.
